A mortar shell explosion killed at least eight Marines and injured several more during mountain warfare training in Nevada's high desert today.

Dear Marines, Army, Navy, Coast Guard, National Guard, ROTC and many more We thank you for your dedication, service and sacrifice for defending our freedoms and way of life. Only a select few Americans can stand up knowing they answered the call to defend our nation during difficult times.
